SEA - what is it all about?
I enrolled with STEMNet in 2009 and applied for accrediation as an 'SEA'.
This means that Schools and other groups associated with young people can ask me to give a presentation about what I do or get involved in a school activity related to the promotion of Science and Engineering as a profession or carrer for young people who might be considering what it is like to be a 'scientst'.
As part of my Astronomical activities I have already given presentations to a number of local schools - see the images on this page.
If you would like to ask me to come to your school/youth group, just get in touch - I need about 4 weeks notice.
PS I'm CRB checked as part of the STEMNet application procedure!
