Kielder at Twixmas 2010 - another very cold trip!

Twixmas 2010 in Kielder village.
In the days leading up to this visit the local temperatures in Kielder village and nearby Butteryhaugh had sunk as low as -21 Centigrade [-6 Fareinheit], causing large slabs of ice, some 15 centimeters thick, to form in the river.
There were parts of the river completely covered in ice - something that I never seen before in more than 15 visits to the area.
