Facts and Figures about Messier 45
1) Commonly known as the Seven Sisters
 - in fact there are more than 200 stars in this cluster
2) One of the brightest Open Clusters visible in the sky
3) Resembles a 'Clay Pipe' when viewed with no or low magnification

How many stars can you see in Messier 45?
Most people can see the '7 Sisters' but from a 'dark sky site' you may see as many as 40 or even 50 stars - this also depends upon the 'sky transparency'.
