Lake Louise is a glacial meltwater lake.
It gets its turquoise blue colour from the 'rock floor' that the glaciers grind off the nearby mountains which is then transported into the lake by a number of rivers in the area.

There is plenty to do all year round in this location including a thriving ski resort in the winter months

Victoria Island, near Vancouver
Victoria Island, near Vancouver, is about as 'British' as you can find in Canada.
The building behind this display ground has a copper roof and, as you can see, they have inherrited a few traditions along the way
The Rockies
The Rockies are a large mountainous area near the centre of Canada.
There are many scenic towns and areas that can be found such as Banff and Jasper, to name but two.
There is something to do all year round, in this part of Canada.
