Kangoo Caves
The Kangoo Caves, near Outdshoorn, in the Cape.
These are formed by acidic rainwater trickling through limestone rich rocks. There are many interesting - and named - formations of stalagmites [those that hang from the ceiling], stalagmites [those that form from the floor] and columns as well. |
